Nigerian Government Condemns Cruel Killing Of Nigeria Citizen In Libya by adex84: 10:19 pm On October 08, 2020
In response to the cruel killing of Nigerian citizens burnt to death in Libya on Tuesday, the Nigerian Government has condemned the act.

The news had earlier been published that a Nigerian migrant worker was burnt to death in a factory where African migrants work in Tripolis of Tajoura in Libya by three Libyans.

Mrs. Abike-Dabiri Erewa, Chairman/Chief Executive Officer Of Nigerians in the Diaspora Commission condemned the act in her statement.

“The NIDCOM describes the act as dastardly, bestial, and unacceptable. We call on the Libyan authorities to apply the full weight of the law on the suspected killers."

Whereas the Libyan Interior Ministry also condemned the act, claiming that it was a new wave of violence on migrants in North Africa.

The United Nations has also illustrated the killing of the Nigerian man as “another senseless crime against migrants in the country".
